Export Control & Compliance Specialist (m/w/d)

Aufgabe:

Support export control reviews, sanctions screening, transaction assessments, and related risk assessments. Assist with export licensing processes, documentation requirements, and communication with regulatory authorities, day to day contact with BAFA (German language). Maintain export control records, procedures, work instructions, and compliance documentation. Participate in internal audits, compliance assessments, monitoring activities, and investigations. Support the preparation and delivery of export control training and awareness programs. Contribute to the harmonization, centralization, and strategic development of export control processes across EMEA.

Qualifikation:

Previous experience in export control, customs, compliance, legal, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or international business - this would be advantageous but is not mandatory. Proactively learning and developing export control expertise through training, practical experience. Demonstrating strong analytical skills, sound judgement, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive ownership of new topics. Working independently, readiness to travel outside Europe, managing complex matters reliably, and document activities in a clear and structured manner. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, with strong written and spoken English and good written and spoken German skills.
